


and just so you know that no tris were wasted, here's the back...

This asset was created in 486 tris and a diffuse, normal and spec (all 512x512) have been applied.
Ok...so my times weeere...
Modelling - About 30 mins
Unwrapping - 30 mins
Texturing (Diffuse, normal and spec) - about 1 hour
So in total it took me about 2 hours from start to finish...though in my defence, I had to relearn how to properly do normal and spec maps! (I'd almost completely forgotten how!)

Excellent time, excellent triangle usage. Well within the limit. Great poly distribution, you have only added geometry detail where necessary and applied a normal map for other details. Fantastic work. I like the scratches on the metal, a bit more excessive than on the actual object, but it makes it look like its been there a few more years.
My only issue is with the specular map. Its just a weird colour. I still want you to use a coloured spec, coz its funky! but not make plastic shine red, and grey metal shine coppery. Could you change the specular colour and post it back up.
Also can you post up a screengrab without the edged faces on? its hard to see if there are any obvious seams otherwise.
