
Yea all iv done so far is import models and made alphas, specular maps, and nmaps work. and diffuse obviously. I also have a bit of an idea of how to use the terrain editor, thought i cant quite imagine what we will need that for...
oh and building geometry in a subtractive or additive environment. (they are pretty much exactly the same once you get the hang of it.)
Im currently following a tutorial for making water materials. It seems like thats gonna be mega important for our level. Im also curious about some directx10 features such as fabric that blows and ripples and rips etc. It would be DAMN nice to have that working in game but i dunno how to implement it yet and I dont think anyone else in our group is running vista anyway and thus that bit of the level would only work on my computer.... shame.
I think i should go to bed soon... OH, SWOT... uuh can I put that of till tomorrow? I guess i shouldnt...
